The positive reinforcement is something Yoongi never even thinks to skimp on. Even with the obvious trust Jungkook already has in him, the closeness they've shared ever since the first day Yoongi brought him home, guiding the baby bunny through each little-big adventure and activity is just his day to day. It's the new normal, but more than that, he wants to do it all. If he's going to be raising Jungkook he's going to do it right, give him all the love and direction he needs--and sure, maybe he didn't read all 126 pages of the bunny hybrid handbook, but isn't most of it just common sense anyways? Yoongi doesn't need instructions for caring about someone, and he certainly doesn't need to be told to want the best for Jungkook, to make him the priority.
The truth is, it wasn't all that difficult for the child to climb to the top of the heap and settle in for good. Yoongi had no defenses when it came to this small wonder. He simply let Jungkook burrow his way inside his heat the same way he burrows into his chest now, his cute little nose nuzzling against Yoongi's face, ears flopping around and knocking his glasses slightly askew. The suddenness of his embrace makes Yoongi laugh, the husky sound mingling with those high-pitched little noises that always seem to signal good happy nice. They're the same noises that greet him in the morning and tuck him into bed at night, sleepier, drawn out against his ear with Jungkook pressed right next to his side. Yoongi's thankful for the good mood as he gives Jungkook's bottom a few affectionate pats, his other hand reaching up to right his glasses again.
"Love you." The soft words are punctuated with a peck to Jungkook's check, Yoongi scooping up the child more securely this time as he carefully gets himself up off the floor. Nicely dressed, full with breakfast, and ready to start the day before noon--not a bad start to their Saturday at all. He's going to miss when Jungkook is old enough to not need as much sleep, fully intent on taking advantage of his semi-lazy weekend mornings for as long as he can manage.
Stifling a yawn against Jungkook's shoulder, Yoongi pads his way out of his bedroom and down the single hallway of his apartment. Every part of his home bears the bunny's mark now, almost as if he had always been there. There's the couch the two will curl up on together, maybe the first place their bond was truly established with Jungkook nestled snug and warm on top of his chest. There's the kitchen where Yoongi cuts up all his meals in bite size little pieces, and there's the table where he puts the food in bite size bowls, making sure Jungkook doesn't inhale everything in one go. There's the closet where Jungkook likes to spend hours digging and exploring and the entrance way where he always waits for Yoongi to come home from work and the TV he still stares at mesmerized and the keyboard he's quickly learned can be very loud and very sudden--best left for Yoongi's fingers. Every bit of it is his as much as it is Yoongi's.
"Alright, let's get our grocery list then." Shuffling over to the fridge, Yoongi takes down the small piece of paper before handing it to the baby bunny in his arms. He always likes having the important job, happy that Yoongi trusts him with something. Really, the lists are unnecessary--Yoongi almost always remembers what they need, but it's far too cute watching Jungkook puzzle over the written words, ears drawn close in concentration, trying to help him find what he's looking for at the store.
All that's left are the shoes (which Jungkook makes quite clear he can put on while Yoongi is still holding him, if he has any say in it) before they're off, Yoongi stepping out into the sunny March day and toward the subway with a very pleased, cradled bunny in tow.
